Cause and effect. Every effect has a cause and in itself becomes a cause. In sociological terms causality can be considered as every action having consequences. Relative to the individual, some consequences are good (rewards) whilst others are bad (punishments). All of them are however inescapable. As such one must be mindful of their actions and considerate of the consequences they may bring.

Society and communities such as AnimePaper, develop rules as a means of defining boundaries and to limit exposure to undesirable consequences. Certain actions then carry punishment as a means of deterrent. It's not a perfect system but for the masses, these systems achieve peace.

On certain occasions though, there will be those who for various reasons do not understand the gravity of their actions and as such do not understand the consequences that shall follow. Cybil and more recently alansmithlover are examples of such individuals. Due to a superficial understanding of the English language, they have misunderstood direction and intervention. They are not familiar with the subtleties of what is a complex language.

As such, they have been extended chances well beyond what would be given other members. And yet again, they have proven that doing so is a wasted effort. Frankly, I do not like my efforts to go wasted.

I have given alansmithlover a deadline. Once it passes, she will be banned. This is a final courtesy to allow her her goodbyes. All too often she has taken to abusing me believing that my attempts to curb her misbehaviour and the misbehaviour of her friends are out of personal vendetta, fear and other non-sensical motives. I am patient but she has demonstrated an inability to learn that her actions have consequences.

My motivations are far more transparent. I have little tolerance for prejudice, selfishness and general idiocy. I also have little tolerance of people passing misinformation as truth. If I see any of these behaviours, I tend to feel compelled to point them out and where possible halt them.

I mention this now to serve as a simple warning. I am out of patience. If you must query my actions (which is an inevitable consequence of them) I expect your behaviour to be free of prejudice, misinformation and general idiocy. As my efforts to this point have been wasted, I do not wish to expend further effort needless re-explaining what has already been said publicly. I have drawn a line in the sand that will not be crossed. If it is crossed, the consequences will be banning.

To make myself clear, banning alansmithlover is because her misbehaviour has gone on long enough. If you must comment or query this action, do so calmly and rationally. If you cannot do so, you will suffer a similar fate of banning. I will not make exceptions.
